Johanna von Braun Natural Justice

Johanna von Braun is the Executive Director of Natural Justice, an organization that specializes in environmental and human rights law in Africa in pursuit of social and environmental justice. Her work has focused in the area of access and benefit sharing, sustainable finance, extractives, and infrastructure. Before joining Natural Justice, von Braun worked for the International Centre for Trade and Sustainable Development in Geneva, focusing on the interface between intellectual property rights and sustainable development. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of London; a Master’s in International Affairs from Columbia University; and a B.A. in Development Studies from the University of Sussex.
